Watch out for dog poo!

Kyle's school has a length of grass that runs beside the sidewalk. It is obviously a place people in that neighborhood like to walk their dogs, for they leave a lot of evidence on the sidewalk and grass. So on the days that Katie and I take Kyle to school I am constantly warning them not to step in it. So, as Jeff and Kyle leave the house in the morning to go to school/work, she runs to the door waving and crying out, "Goodbye! See you later! I love you! Watch out for the dog poo!"

Katie has made great progress over the last several weeks, and appears to be potty trained, but she has had three accidents, about 4-5 days apart each time. She'll just suddenly say, "Mom, I have to go to the bathroom!" and then I just see her spread her legs apart looking down at the puddle appearing in between her feet. She won't give me much info when I question her about it. She is still in diapers at night.

Kyle is doing well, but is really glad summer is coming soon. It is still hard to get him to do all of his homework. He is completely addicted to the Wii and video games, so we try very hard to fill some of his time with sports or activities that do not include a screen. He is still utterly crazy over Mario everything! The funniest thing to me is that when he runs out of Wii time (because eventually I have to kick him off some days), he then immediately wants to go upstairs and watch other people playing the game (walkthroughs) on You Tube.
